Eddie has dreams but he can’t get moving anymore. Life was perfect for him and Val. They’d always dreamt of opening a little place of their own – ‘Vals Steak and Suds’. And then one night, just as they found the ideal place, a kiss changed everything forever.’
Jimmy Murphy. Jimmy’s plays include “The Kings of the Kilburn High Rd”, “The Hen Night Epiphany”, and “Brothers of the Brush.” His most recent work was “The Chief’ for Decadent Theatre in 2022. He is a former Writer in Residence for NUI Maynooth, and a member of Aósdana.
Luke Griffin. Luke is a graduate of Dublin's prestigious Gaiety School of his critically acclaimed performance as Kevin Walsh in Pure Mule to bringing Terence "Salty" Harris to the screen for Stephen Spielberg and Tom Hanks in HBO's smash hit series Band Of Brother. Recent notable work includes Agnieszka Holland's searing epic 1983 as well as The Frankenstein Chronicles opposite Seán Bean, both for Netflix. Luke has had a very successful theatre career, spanning three decades, taking him from his National Theatre to London's West End and New York. Previous shows in the Viking include Setanta Murphy by Garret Keogh, Chancers by Robert Massey and Brothers of the Brush by Jimmy Murphy.
Lee Coffey is a writer/director based in Dublin. He is a founding member and Creative Director of contemporary theatre company Bitter Like A Lemon.Lee’s plays include the critically acclaimed G.O.D., In Our Veins, Leper + Chip and Murder of Crows.
